Earlier this year, our daughter Casey was diagnosed with Cancer. She’s been through Chemo and surgery, with more treatment to come, and she’s doing remarkably well, considering. We definitely have reason to feel positive, though it has come with an enormous cost, both mentally and financially. She had to leave the job she loves so much, (maybe the hardest part), and she won’t be able to return to work for some time. Her Insurance is let’s just say, less than helpful, with a high deductible, high Maximum Out of Pocket policy. A company that has proven to be difficult too often. We (her family) are doing everything we can to keep her afloat, but along the way, many of her friends (and ours) have asked if there’s an online donation site set up so they can help out.
